In 2002 the PINK decided  to host a freefly competition for beginners to challenge their skills and to give them the opportunity to start their competitive career in a fun and relaxed way.
It was a huge sucess. Many teams participated and after 8 rounds the team GFR won a "jump for free" weekend in Skydive PINK Klatovy sponsored by the PINK  Skyvan.

This year we made some changes in the rules: there will be two different competitions: "beginner" and "intermediate"

Teams:

"Beginner":
The Team consists of three members, one of them has to be cameraperson. The maximum total amount of jums (all three members together) must not be over 1500.
"Intermediate":
The Team consists of three members, one of them has to be cameraperson. The maximum total amount of jums (all three members together) must not be under 1500.
Each team has to have a team captain

Rounds:

There will be a minimum of 3 rounds and a maximum of 15. The competition starts with a compulsory round, followed by three free rounds and so on.
The compulsory moves will be drawn out of a pool.

Judging:

In the evening of each competition day, the teamcaptains will judge the jumps of the day. The highest and the lowest score will be removed, everything else counts. The compulsory rounds will be judged by execution with a maximum of 10 points, the free rounds will be judged by execution and difficulty with a maximum of 10 points.
The team with the highest points at the end of the competition is the winner

The competition will take place at the PINK Boogie in Kirchberg am Walde in Austria on the 2nd and 3rd of July 2003 out of the PINK Skyvan.
The drawing of the compulsory moves will be on Tuesday, 1st of July 2003 at 7 p.m. at the Manifest. Begin of competition and meeting of teamcaptains: Wednesday, 2nd of July at 9 a.m. Last competition jump: Thursday sunsetload.

Prizes:

1st prize is a "jump for free" weekend (Saturday/Sunday) at Skydive PINK Klatovy in August 2003 for the winning team in the beginners category. 1st Prize for the Intermediates are 3 Pro Tracks sponsored by Larsen&Brusgaard.
