1st Pink Swooping Competition

To celebrate the completion of our new FAI-Swooping pond, we would like to invite you to participate in the 1st Pink Swooping Competition. Jeffro Provenzano of the XAOS Swoop Team and Uschi Wagner are organizing the event!

Date:
22nd of May 2004,  8:00 a.m.
Meeting: 21st of May 2004, 8:00 p.m. in the packing area
Auxiliary date if there is bad weather: 23rd of May 2004

Place:
Skydive Pink Klatovy

Requirements:
Equipment:
long pants, longsleeve shirt, helmet

Events:

1st round: Distance

2nd round: Carve

3rd round: Accuracy

4th round: Carve

5th round: Accuracy

Exit altitude: 1000 to 1500 Meter

Airplane: Pink Skyvan SC7 or Cessna 207

Jumpers per pass: 4-5

Winner:
Overall winner is the person with the highest total scores.
If there are two people with the same points, the person with the longer distance wins.

Costs:
Registration fee is 15,-- Euro per participant.
Plus your personal tickets

Prizes:
The registration fee will be the prizemoney. The more people take part, the higher the prize money will be.

Swoop Course:

Accuracy:
The black spots mark the gates.
If you fly through all four gates, you will get 4 times the points of the target; if you fly through three gates, you will get 3 times the points,...
Target:
If you land in the red target, you get 100 points
If you land in the yellow target, you get 50 points
If you land outside, you get 0 points

Carve:
The black spots mark the gates.
If you fly through all four gates, you will get 4 times the points of the target; if you fly through three gates, you will get 3 times the points,...
Afterwards you can choose between different target-gates:
if you fly straight, you will get 50 points
if you carve to the right or to the left into the middle gate, you will get 75 points
if you carve to the right or to the left into the outside gate, you wll get 100 points

Distance:
After flying through the entry gate, you have to fly the longest distance.
