A little over five years
ago Thomas decidet that he doesn't want to stay in Europe during winter anymore.
He was tired of frozen fingers and nose while jumping in the cold. So he sent
his daughter Uschi to Tunisia to check out some nice places for jumping and soon
she found Tozeur, an oasis in the middle of the tunisian desert. With over 75°
F and blue skies perfect for jumping.
In January 2001 the Pink flew to Tunisia for the 1st Pink Tozeur Boogie. It was
a great success! Many people from all over the wold joined the pink staff for
some amazing jumps to the oasis Chebika at the mountains and to the Star Wars
set at Oung el Chmel.
One year later, in January 2002 the Pink flew there again. The weather was even
better, the food is perfect, the people are very friendly... and we did even
better jumps with boats and skyballs. Even the tunisian military joined us for
two weeks!
So we do it again! From February 4th to 20st 15, 2005!
Of course there will be loadorganizing for RW as well as for Freeflying. As RW Load Organizers Pablo Iragorri, Skip Kniley and Thomas are coming. Andrea Ptackova will be there for beginners. For Freeflyers Martin Eiszner and Wuzi Wagner from Die SchuRken will be there organizing and coaching (special price for Coachjumps: 25,-- Euro/jump plus your ticket)!
Tozeur has an international
airport. 2-3 aircraft movements per day
make it an ideal place for skydiving.
